Introducing Favstir 2.0: A Faster Way to Work With Your Lists

Favstir 2.0 brings a new master-detail workspace, clearer navigation, and a more focused way to browse, organize, and share recommendations.

Introducing Favstir 2.0

Favstir 2.0 is a major UI update built around one simple goal: make your recommendations easier to move through, manage, and return to.

The update brings a more focused workspace to your lists, saved items, and shared recommendations. It is faster to scan, clearer to navigate, and designed to keep the details of what you are working on close at hand.

A New Master-Detail Workspace

The biggest change in Favstir 2.0 is the new master-detail layout.

On larger screens, your collection lives in a dedicated rail while the selected list or item opens alongside it. You can keep browsing your lists without losing the context of what you already had open.

That means less back-and-forth navigation and a more natural way to work:

  • Browse your lists in one place
  • Open a list without leaving the workspace
  • Move between collections while keeping the detail view in sight
  • Use independent scrolling for the collection rail and the detail pane

The result feels more like a calm, useful workspace than a stack of disconnected pages.

Better Lists, Saved Items, and Shared Recommendations

The new workspace is not limited to your own lists.

Saved lists and copies now use the same clearer structure, so it is easier to find what you bookmarked and act on it. Shared With You has also been redesigned around the same pattern, making incoming recommendations easier to review without losing your place.

Across these areas, Favstir 2.0 adds more consistent actions for organizing, saving, pinning, and clearing items when you are ready.

Designed for Faster Browsing

We refined the parts of the app you use repeatedly:

  • More compact workspace headers that leave room for the content that matters
  • Directional sorting that makes it easier to view lists your way
  • Clearer search and filter tools in saved and shared views
  • Persistent, accessible list actions instead of actions hidden behind hover states
  • Improved focus routes that make selected saved and shared content easier to revisit

Small details matter here. Titles are easier to tap on mobile, menus stay available when you need them, and the overall hierarchy makes it easier to understand where you are and what you can do next.

A More Responsive Experience on Every Screen

Favstir 2.0 is designed for the way people actually move between devices.

Desktop gets the expanded master-detail workspace. Mobile gets a cleaner focused flow with reliable tap targets and simpler transitions from a collection into its details. Discovery has also been refreshed into a more responsive browsing grid.

The UI is more polished, but the purpose is practical: keeping recommendations useful should feel effortless whether you are quickly saving an idea on your phone or organizing a list at your desk.

What Has Not Changed

Favstir is still about intentional recommendations.

You can collect the places, things, and ideas worth remembering; add the context that makes them useful; and share lists with the people who will appreciate them. Favstir 2.0 simply gives that work a clearer home.
